The program itself is very expensive, but once you get past that… it’s awesome. As a beginner to this program and a beginner to the mac OS, I found this book to be very easy and straightforward. The lessons went step by step at the easiest level and that I could understand everything it explained. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to buy final cut, as it teaches you the basics and more. Buy it or die.

This book is better than two university classes I’ve taken in Final Cut. If you are a beginning or intermediate user, get this book and you will be amazed at everything you will learn. You’ll be working with Final Cut like a pro in no time. So happy I bought it.

I am a beginner to editing video. This text is easy for me to understand and gives

great detail on how to do all the procedures needed to create great videos.

I highly recommend Final Cut Pro 5 by Diana Weynand, whether you are a begninner or

if you are well versed in the program. After the initial tutorial material is covered,

it will make a great reference manual.
