Jack Groppel is so convincing of the need for Americans to modify lifestyles instead of dieting, that one comes away from this book certain that changes are long overdue. However, he does not suggest that a diet that includes fried food, high-cholesterol products, and gourmet ice cream is total history. He simply says, limit consumption of such products and dedicate yourself to living a low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet coupled with routine aerobic *and* strength training. Groppel’s scientific and real-life expertise give him real credibility. An easy read that serves it’s purpose well.
