Weight Loss gone bad
A few of the things I wasted money on in my quest to lose weight. I have tossed out more than I have in exercise equipment and diet books. None of the worked, NONE. I have lost almost 100 pounds with Calorie Restriction with Optimal Nutrition and not eating anything white. It works, I am happy and almost skinny for the first time in 20 years. I will stick with CR for life. It is so silly simple. comarell.net http

Oh, I have great collection of workout DVDs myself. Mine actually do work IF you do them (ha). So is your calorie restriction plan similar to the Fast-5 plan? I fast until 5pm then have a healthy meal. You look so good! I know you must be thrilled!

I need to look up the Gabriel Method.
I am very happy with how I am eating and very successful with it but it never hurts to learn. I don’t restrict anything either except calories of course.
The foods I don’t eat aren’t restricted they are forever banned because they are killer foods.

I following The Gabriel Method. No restrictions, just the mind/body connection.

You should have a garage sale and sell it all. There is something out there for everybody

It really is easy. I am now seriously back to lose my final poundage. I need to reduce my body fat.
It is amazing how I feel and the things I can do now. So worth the effort.

hmmm and i was going to buy a rebounder not sure if i still am..
This is a great video! I used to work with substance abusers and one motto they say a lot is the program works if you work it, and thats the same with making a lifestyle change, whatever means you use you have to bring your heart mind and soul to it…it doesnt work from the outside (products/means) in. Im pretty much raw but have been cooked *veggies lately, I still battle with binges here and there but not as bad as the old me…

Quite enlightening. People think all these gimmicks will work, but the truth is that only hard work and dedication to good nutrition will. And if we’re going to do it anyway, why bother with all the products?
Great job sticking with it!

Congratulations on your weight loss. Seems we both have tried plenty of ways to lose weight. I am hoping this is my last attempt. It is the most I have ever lost or had to lose. I do have 10 more pounds I don’t want.

Ooh I had bad stomach cramps from having those diet teas. Never did Jenny, did Atkins, WW is what I lost my weight through so…I love ‘em.

LOL I had one of those tramplines. Actually it worked for my exercising for the first 40 pounds or so. I felt so much less stress on my knees when I did it. Yep, had a few of the sweatin to the oldies vids. I can’t listen to some of those songs now without thinking of working out. “Ain’t no mountain high enough.” Ugh.

I plan to go on CR but my understanding is that you should do it very gradually. but mainly I am trying to regain some muscle mass and get in shape before I do. With the weight training and cardio I am doing right now it would be impossible to do real CR.

That was an inexpensive rebounder. Mine was around 350. I do intend to use it someday. I stumble over it almost every day.
We don’t have a Y near us, it sure sounds like a bargain, fun too.
You should start CR right away. It is very easy to do.

Losing weight is pretty simple isn’t it. I hope I can keep it simple for a very long time. I am getting used to looking at myself 90 pounds lighter. I am loving it.

I am happy I decided to give CR a try too. That and not eating grains, sugars, starches and milk. Well almost never. I made a whole wheat, spinach, goat cheese pizza tonight.
Sure was good.

Thanks Angie.
We need to figure out how to do this on our own I guess. Some of the books are just plain dumb. I gotta stop buying them.

The books are fairly new ones. I tossed out a whole bunch of them a few months ago. I buy books and use parts of the plan and it messes me up. I need to stick with CR it is the only thing that has worked for me. I am a sucker for a new book.
